Our Vision

Cultivating global oneness in Christ

Our Mission

to work alongside world-wide partners uprooting harmful cultural practices so that individuals and communities are freed to build more meaningful lives, being deeply united in the love of Christ with one another (Jer. 1:10).

Believing

that equality and justice are God’s imperatives, and peace and unity his objectives, we stand side-by-side with those who are oppressed or marginalized to help replace subjugation with mutuality, abuse with respect, and violence with peace and safety in the Christian home, church and society.

Partnering

with communities, individuals, governments, non-profits (NGO’s), inter-denominational churches, seminaries and other global ministries, we bring a message of hope, healing, and holy purpose, regardless of gender, ethnicity, class, or age.

Equipping

the global Body of Christ for educational ministry, spiritual transformation and holistic community development.

Offering

culturally relevant biblical resources through educational media, Female Genital Mutilation seminars, leader multiplication training, spiritual development workshops, microfinance and other creative enterprises.

Igniting

communities that reflect the oneness of God (Creator, Word, and Spirit) in the dance of life together.

Life Together International

cherishes equality as a human right. We also believe that interdependence between men and women takes equality even further, to one of the most powerful human blessing available through Jesus Christ—oneness.

Equality laws are necessary and can establish that men and women are given the same rights, same access to jobs, health care, goods, and services, etc. But, we believe it is not enough to be equal. Men and women can be equal to each other, and yet still be terribly separated and isolated from one another.

Lawmakers can pursue equality through laws, but oneness is a divine work of the Holy Spirit and has to be cultivated through prayer and godly action (John 17:20-23). That is what we are doing—cultivating global oneness in Christ.

We have seen God’s work of oneness create intimacy between former enemies, transform disdain into respect, replace contempt with affinity, exchange selfishness for willing self-sacrifice, convert indifference into empathy, remove dissension and bring reconciliation. Equality alone cannot do that.

Jesus calls us away from the separation caused by hierarchy, beyond the co-existence of equality, and into the mutual devotion and holy purpose of oneness.
